Wire Striping and Printing

Waytek offers custom wire striping and wire printing. You may request striping or printing as part of your online wire order (see details below), you may order by phone at 800-328-2724, or email [email protected]. After you have placed your order, you can expect delivery within 5-10 business days.

Wire printing is a practical way to identify the use of a wire or cable by printing descriptive wording on its jacket. The words are repeated in intervals throughout the length of the wire, eliminating the need to follow a wire all the way to its destination. For more complex applications, wire striping is often the preferred method of identification. The wire’s base color plus its striping color indicate a specific use. The number of potential color combinations is virtually unlimited and can accommodate a large number of wiring functions.

Wiring striping and wire printing orders are non-cancellable, non-returnable (NCNR). Also please note:

• We can print or stripe 22-10 gauge single conductor wire
• We do not print or stripe WN or multi-conductor cable 
• Spools are based off wire size; please check the product detail page to see specific sizes offered
• If you order printing and striping on the same line item, we will add both fees to that line item
• The minimum per line item is 1,000 ft, but you can order in increments of 500 after that; all fees will be prorated beyond the 1,000 minimum (for example 1,500 ft would be $12 total for single stripe)
